여주인공 마르쥬역의 Marie Laforet는 너무나도 매혹적이었고, 세트 디자이너인 Paul Bertrand가 만들어낸 감성적인 파스텔톤의 휴양지풍 분위기는 영화 속의 한장면 한장면을 모두를 소유하게싶게 만들었다.

오늘같이 덥고 습한 여름 오후 최고의 선택이었음.

주드 로와 기네스 펠트로 주연의 리메이크인 '리플리( Talented Mr. Reply)' 도 곧 꼭 챙겨보아야겠다.

영어 제목인 Purple Noon도 꽤 매력적인걸...?

동경의 Aoyama Book Center에서 책을 고르다 우연히 찾은 보석같은 앨범.

스웨덴 출신의 피아니스트이자 작곡가인 조엘 다넬의 데뷔 앨범인 " Datum"은 피아노와 어쿠스틱 기타, 멜로디카, 바이올린, 아코디언, 휘파람, 도브로 기타, 흐르는 물소리, 숲 속의 소리, 새와 벌들의 소리로 평화로우면서도 명쾌한 음악적 풍경화를 연상시킨다. 모든 곡들은 날짜를 따아 이름지어졌으며, 늦은 10월, 다넬의 스톡홀롬 교외에 있는 스튜디오의 발코니에 앉아 방금 꿈처럼 지난 6월의 분주하지만 동시에 느긋한 여름날을 기억하는듯하다.

We're in LA this week to visit stores and have a Lucky magazine shoot in Palm Springs.

Apparently it's 114 degrees in Palm Springs. People say fashion is glamorous, and it gets really glamorous when you're wearing fake fur in the desert. We'll be wearing Fall's newest looks all day while drinking date shakes from Sheild's date farm in Palm desert. For the next few days, Lisa and I will be chilling in our home town.
